This image was scanned from the 1926 Wisconsin Official Highway Map. This general style of sign was probably used from 1918 to 1937. By 1932, according to the official maps, the logo "STATE TRUNK HIGHWAY" was dropped. I have only seen one sign in person and it did not have the logo. (Map from my collection) |

This scan is from the 1932 Wisconsin Official Highway Map. By 1932, the logo "COUNTY TRUNK" was changed to "COUNTY HIGHWAY". These signs were used until 1962 when they were succeeded by the series above. (Map from my collection) |
