US HIGHWAY SIGNS

Old embossed cutout US shield (Photo by Joe Koehler).

STATE HIGHWAY SIGNS

(May 2000) Walsh Co, ND. Current North Dakota state highway sign.

(May 2000) Traill Co, ND. Three-digit ND sign have an extended Indian head (or maybe just and extended headress).

(May 2000) Pembina Co, ND. State and county road signs on a big green sign.

Original style North Dakota route marker. I'm not sure if ND went from this style to the current style or if there was an interim design. This sign probably dates back to the 1930's judging by the narrow font for the "8"(My collection)

COUNTY ROAD SIGNS

(May 2000) Pembina Co, ND. North Dakota uses the standard pentagonal county road marker
